Curriculum

At ACHS, we are committed to providing a warm and personal Jewish educational experience, where children learn to live the beauty and wisdom of Judaism every day – and have lots of fun along the way!
 
Our innovative and fun-filled lessons were developed by the global Chabad Children’s Network (CKids) to bring Jewish learning to life like never before. Hundreds of Chabad Hebrew Schools around the world are using these sought-after curriculums.
 
We’re excited to announce two brand-new curricula are coming to ACHS for the 2025-2026 school year! 
 
Here’s what your child will experience this year: 

My Jewish Treasures

Grades K–2

Calling all explorers! Children will be diving into the incredible treasures of Judaism each week – mitzvot, traditions, values, and more! With interactive activities, games, and crafts, children will uncover the bounty of Jewish treasures in the past, their own lives, and the world around us. Each week, your child will collect a special “treasure token” to fill their personal “Jewish Treasures Chest” – while also discovering their inner treasures of kindness, confidence, a love for Israel and a strong Jewish identity.

Israel Quest

Grades 3–5

Get ready for an adventure! Children will journey through the epic story of the Jewish people from entering the Land of Israel, to building the Beit Hamikdash, and beyond! Each week, through immersive and creative activities, games, and adventures, children will step into the shoes of prophets, kings, and heroes, discovering the strength of our people and the unbreakable bond we share with our homeland. 

Hebrew Reading:

Our Hebrew reading curriculum is based on the internationally acclaimed Aleph Champion™ Reading Program. Aleph Champion.
 
This highly motivational system is time-tested and proven to be one of the fastest and most effective method of teaching Hebrew reading and writing to the North American child.

FIRST TASTE PROGRAM

JK-SK

First Taste is designed to grab the very young child’s attention with song, art, drama and games. By exposure to the aleph-bet, Torah tales, prayer through song and holiday studies, a child gains a sense of pride and love for Judaism.

Annual Tuition: $1000* (fully tax deductible and all inclusive, see breakdown below.)   

HEBREW SCHOOL

Grades 1-6

This program offers a more advanced Hebrew and Jewish studies curriculum. Children learn to read and write Hebrew and gain an appreciation for the ‘why’s and ‘how’s, of contemporary Jewish life.

All this is done with an enjoyable hands on arts program. Here the children explore their heritage through a fun and creative approach.

Refund policy

Registration fees are non refundable. Should you decide to withdraw your child from ACHS, your refund will be pro rated up to February 1. After that date no refund will be allowed for ACHS tuition. There are no refunds or credits for days missed due to illness, holidays, or family vacations.
